A “green” office overlooking the city
Asset management company
Our client, an international asset management company, has entrusted Tétris with the design and construction of its new Italian headquarters. The new office, located on the sixth floor of a building in the heart of Milan, is bright and has a 360 degree view of the city.
The offices are developed on a single floor of 280sqm divided into three main environments: an area dedicated to client reception, a space for employees and a central entrance area that connects the other two sections.
The welcome area is organized as a multifunctional space equipped with a coffee point, a large communal table and comfortable seats. It is a hybrid space where to welcome customers, take a quick break, an informal meeting or organize an event; a sort of central plaza to the office surrounded by light partitions such as glass walls and vegetation that define the space without totally isolating it from the rest of the environment.
The central area connects the two wings of the floor: on one side the client area with the reception rooms and on the other side the employee area with the open space and the operational support corners such as phone booths, stand-up meetings room, a copy area and a kitchenette.
The mood definition has been focused on the choice of natural materials such as oak and green foliage that foster the well-being of the users whilst boosting their productivity. The environment is characterized by soft and delicate tones energized by accents of color that we find in the carpet islands and in the fabric panels that, together with the vegetation and the sound-absorbing panels covering the central area, ensure an excellent noise reduction.
The use of lighting has also been an important element of space decoration: technical lights for the work spaces alternate with decorative and scenographic lights in the informal areas, thus creating different levels of brightness.
The new headquarters reflects the company’s attention to sustainability and environmental well-being: high-quality materials and furnishings and attention to details give the offices a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, conducive to concentration and work.
