Modern office spaces in a vintage building
On request of its customer, Tétris transformed a whole floor of an ancient insurance building into a modern office space.
The task of Tétris was to adjust the original design of the UK architects to the local conditions on site. This involved the replacement of the planned suspended ceilings by open ceilings with floating ceiling panels and pendant luminaires. A server room with a gas-based fire-extinction system with overpressure lines running up to the roof top was successfully integrated into the space concept and adjusted to the structural fire-protection design of the building. The sanitary facilities were installed in the former technical spaces. In close cooperation with the British Interior Architects responsible for the design and with the local architect, Tétris developed solutions for a multitude of short-term adjustments in line with the progress of the construction work. Thanks to the common efforts of all parties to the project, the tenant could move into the new offices spaces in due time.
